Come on in! I’m Kirsten, the Southern drawl behind Sweet Tea, LLC. I’ve poured my heart into this business with one main goal in mind:
To educate & encourage the overwhelmed and over-committed blogger and creative business owner who may have lost sight of her passion.
I’ve been where you are. A to-do list a mile long, an inbox bursting with information you just don’t have time to digest, a blog in desperate need of a few updates…
…and oh yea, you need content, too.
Blogging can sometimes feel like a neverending cycle of Learn This –> Apply That –> Be on This Platform –> Wash –> Rinse –> Repeat.
What about you? What do you love about blogging? Why do you want to be a creative business owner?
Yes, friends, at one point in time, you were passionate about your blog, your business…but somewhere along the way, you got caught up in the to-do’s and forgot to check in with your heart to make sure you stayed on track.
That’s where I come in.
SWEET TEA, LLC IS FOR YOU IF:
- You are tired of the rat race and competition and want to get back to basics
- You want to rediscover your passion and share it creatively with the world
- You want to learn in a way that shows you, rather than tells you, how to do something
- You want to plug in and connect with other bloggers & creatives to build your community
- You want hands-on coaching to help you stay focused and grow your blog or business
In addition to value-packed blog posts of original content, you also have the opportunity to listen to Blog Fuel podcast episodes, access the Resource Library available to email subscribers, and become a member of The Mason Jar for even more educational content. You will learn through educational webinars, informative Periscope broadcasts, online courses, ebooks, and video training.
THE STORY OF THE SWEET TEA BRAND:
I’ve been blogging about home decor, organization, and DIY projects since 2010, starting my life as “One Tough Mother” and rebranding in 2014 to “Sweet Tea & Saving Grace“. My first 3+ years were spent comparing myself to bigger bloggers and treading water just trying to keep up. In December 2013, I walked away, and spent six full months reassessing my goals and rediscovering my passion.
I realized that I love the community aspect of blogging, and decided to come back with a fresh perspective (and new name), and define my own brand of success. I continue to share my home with my blog readers, and share the knowledge gained through that experience here with you.
After my rebrand in 2014, I decided to use the tools and resources I had gained through my years of blogging to create a business. After serving as a virtual assistant for other bloggers in my niche, I very quickly became the go-to blogger for email marketing and, more specifically, MailChimp assistance.
In May 2015, I released my first ebook, “An Inbox of Opportunity“, a 160-page workbook designed to take bloggers and creatives from account setup to sending their first fully-customized newsletter, and everything in between.
Since that time, I have also created a private Facebook community, host monthly webinars, share video tutorials on YouTube, lead Periscope broadcasts, and write informative blog posts.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
Sweet Tea, LLC has come a long way since it’s launch in December 2015! The Mason Jar is a membership community that provides customizable blog education; monthly group coaching, workshops, and challenges; and, of course, an active community forum where members can hang out and talk “blog”.
The Blog Fuel podcast is an extension of the Blog Fuel Facebook group, providing education & encouragement to goal-gettters like you! I bring on amazing guests for most episodes and share valuable insights into blogging as a business. All episodes are linked up right HERE.
Home Grown Bloggers is a passion project that became reality when I connected with Heather from My Life Well Loved. She & I are both passionate about education & community, and Home Grown Bloggers combines these two elements into in-real-life hands-on blog education in cities across the US. Our first big event is happening September 24, 2016, in Birmingham, Alabama. Get details & register for this awesome event right HERE.
