Right about now you might be asking yourself, "What the heck is content strategy?" Well, that's what I'm here for.
Content strategy is a fancy business-y term for intentional planning of your content based on your business goals, target audience, and insights. There is SEO involved, and an organized site structure helps a lot, too.
Now, when you read the word "content", you might immediately think of blog posts, but content in your content strategy goes a lot further than blog posts. Your content strategy might include things like YouTube videos, podcasts, Facebook Live broadcasts, email newsletters, social media posts, and so on.
Taking the time to intentionally plan your content strategy will help you be more visible online while creating less content - it's true! You can repurpose various pieces of content in myriad ways, making your content creation workload a lot lighter.
